I talked with Josh Berkus at SCaLEx8, a couple of weeks ago, and he had submitted several presentation proposals but at that time, none of his proposed sessions were accepted.
Which is a shame because he is a really good speaker. Since the Oracle aquisition of Sun, I have the opinion that I would like O'Reilly turn the MySQL Conf/Expo into a general OpenSource Database Conference and Expo. Would be a lot more interesting.
